No. Was ‘selling’ 996 GT3 (in general) as an option to fijibubba and might have gone a tad overboard.

My auction ends today - will be a good value for the buyer I suspect!

I'm watching it closely. My bet it'll be an interesting finale.

Cool - reserve is very modest so I suspect any level of last day bids will sell the car

I have been looking at 996 GT3s for awhile now. Several nice silver ones, but I want a yellow, white or PTS one. I also want one with less than 30k miles and want it original without the seats like yours (stock sofas). These cars are harder to find than almost anything! CGTs are easier to come by!

Yes, silver somehow doesn't quite fit 6gt3's badass nature. Mine's 05 with 18k miles. Stock sofas with backs painted SY are stored away. But this car will probably be the last one I ever sell. My love and appreciation for it only grows with time, which has not happened with any other car I've had. I can see why they are getting harder to find. By my estimate, there are probably less than 200 clean, under 30k mile examples left out there. They are as rare as RS, if not more so, due to basically only one year 2004 production (only about 200 cars in 05), for a 1000 total. Good luck with your search!

Where does the 997 GT3/3RS faithful put the 981 GT4 in their thoughts? Super nice GT4's are at about the same price point as nice 7.1 GT3s or storied 7.2 GT3s...

Use would be a weekend fun car, occasional daily, 3-4 track days/yr.
added a GT4 last year but sold it after 40 miles...good, beautiful, capable car. too much tech for me - I love the 997 platform

Beautiful car, what are you expecting to get out of it?

Whatever the highest bidder decides to pay! Great car, but its time. When my son is older will get another one, but for now its time to train him to ski and wakeboard

Posting on BAT when (if) the reserve is met seems to help stimulate end-game bidding on BAT auctions.... Good luck, I'll be watching as well!

I have seen the car in person. The car is pretty rough around the edges. Going to need some TLC. If you plan to track it often and keep it, do a PPI and have some money in case something breaks.

The mods were all done by GMG, not BBi. Quality parts were used, but the car remains unchanged since about 2013. Just expect that you will have to spend some money after the fact.

If you plan on buying an RS that will increase in value or be a collectible, then likely this is not the car for you.

^^^ Everything aftermarket, range 4/5 (even if old), rough around edges, etc. Maybe nice track car for the right price but it'll always be tough to sell/resell

From that listing, anyone know about the blue NB? Looks familiar but can't remember the details of this car. Is it a wrap? The car isn't listed under current or past inventory
