I would also and much easier to negotiate that in a PP purchase. On BAT, I think one ought to strive to present the car in it's best possible light.

$78k for the black BAT GT3. WP0AC29997S792866
Lot's of very good comments. Specifically one about the seats being swapped in it. Why someone would swap seats just for the crest in headrest is beyond me. That is a low price if the car checks out, but lots of unknowns with this one, along with the COVID19 fears.

I made the seat comment. The seller was definitely hiding something or just not being completely truthful about the car. Not that most those things make it a bad car but when you come off as deceitful, people tend to hold onto their money.

I am glad you made that comment. I agree - seller definitely was hiding something. Both yours and RAudis comments were very reasonable I thought. It definitely prevented that car from going higher, which is good. But would have been nice if it just did not hit reserve.

If that black GT3 could talk I cant fathom the stories. That thing looked used and abused. Sure the dme was clean but gheez the physical condition of the car was pretty bad and clearly had been tinkered with; seats, interior panels, driver door panel, etc. very weird amount of condensation stains in trunk and rusted bolt heads?? This thing looked like it was parked and left in a swamp.

So many weird and unusual things on that car, not to mention the condition being grossly inconsistent with what's fair to expect at 12k miles. Lots of unanswered questions yet still found a buyer willing to shell out ~80k!

Color, miles, canada car, markets imploding, lowered reserve - this one will trade for cheap! Perfect track car.

^^^ interesting to read the Pelican write-up when it was for sale back in Jan 2015, and the comment: "this owner was strict about keeping the car bone stock and using it only for light weekend use or car shows", yet the car had the red CL nuts which did not come Stnd from Porsche. I see the current seller on PCAR has returned the car to the Stnd silver oem CL wheel nuts, so that's good.
Overall the car looks good from the pics, although the auction is missing paint depth readings, and seller posted that he took readings,... but decided not to include those pictures in the auction.
When a commentor asked about track time; The PCAR Seller (DriverM (seller)) also states: "I am not sure if they have been pinned. I'll have to take a look. If I am correct, its not really an issue if the car has not been tracked. This car has never seen the track. The DME will attest to that." ... Not sure how he can make that claim based on the DME readings alone. We all know that cannot be the sole source of truth on that.
.... & I guess the seller has never seen a water pump on these cars?,... and has not simply raised the engine lid & looked down to see if the coolant lines have been pinned? ... seems like lazy answers to me.
Auction ends in 1 hour, and sitting at $95k. Seems like this .2 would be a good buy for higher bidder if it stays there.
