Looks a lot like the .2 GT3 as seen in the Tedward videos on YouTube. Should have an insane sounding exhaust + headers.
It is.
And yes, a ton of car for the money. Those upgrades are money (literally and figuratively), and I'd have no qualms with the mileage given what's been done in terms of preventative maintenance.
Agree with the comments above. If you’re buying a well maintained car with tasteful modifications, you have a win, no matter the miles. Doug should have no problem selling that one.
I appreciate the low to average mileage cars as much of the next guy, but when we start caring more about condition rather than miles, we all win.

GT3 in the video had a red center console and shift ****, if this is the same vehicle looks like those were replaced? (maybe that is the OEM Alcantara Lower Dash)

If you go back on his IG, it shows it when it had those parts, must have been swapped out.
I’ve got a really clean pumpkin 997.1 RS with 24,700km (Roughly 15,500 miles) that I will be posting up for sale soon, potentially on BaT.
The exterior is near perfect with hardly any rock chips, no claims or paintwork, clean Carfax, full leather interior that is near blemish free.
PCCBs, sharkwerks bypass and tips, Tarret stud kit, coolant lines pinned fall 2019 along with every other typical service item (fluids, plugs, coils, etc) and new PPF on the front, the car needs nothing.
Car is located in Vancouver BC but is currently plated for Alberta. If you go to my Instagram @jasonturtle there is a highlight of the car with a large number of images and video.
I sold my last two 997 GT3’s to RL members, maybe this will make #3.

Agreed. The hazing on the paint is brutal. Also spotted a rusted bolt on the hinge that holds the door to the frame (pic 38). Can't say I've seen that on other GT3s before.
^^^ A lot of it seems to be a clear lack of detailing. washed & then driven to the "photo shoot" wet. All the pics with spots, lint, etc all in/around the car.
Not at all well prepared for sale. But that seems par for the course, and a indicator, when the seller also decided to leave old tires on the car & push that purchase to the next guy.
For such easy things to do, I cannot for the life of me understand why folks would decide not to thoroughly prep the car inside/out for the auction, and put new tires on it.
BUT,... to me that ALSO seems like it presents an opportunity for a auctioned low price purchase, on what seems to be a street driven car....
12,172 miles / 544.4 operating hours = average driven speed of 22.36 mph. That's very low. Maybe this one was indeed a grocery get'r.
Question for all the 997.1 GT3 guys,... the rear deck carpet has the horseshoe outline for the placement of a roll cage (pics 81 - 83). Were they all like that from the factory? I don't have that in my 997.2
