I was thinking the same thing as there are a lot of concerning catches identified in this thread. Either this car is just presented horribly and has some cosmetic needs to address or it has a suspect history. Either way, I am surprised at all the comments about how beautiful the car is when it looks terrible. I don't know if chiming in there would be helpful to buyers or seen as sh%#@ing on the seller's for sale ad. Maybe just gently copy the link to this thread, haha.
I tend to stay quiet unless I'm actually interested in the car and then I'll ask. That being said, most others just point it out and don't really care about sh%#@ing on the auction lol. I'm just surprised no one has yet!
It's a guaranteed that any "real" interested bidder would definitely google the VIN # & would see these comments. All others on the auction are just peanut gallery & would enjoy the sh$%^ show comments,... so why give them the pleasure there. Too much drama.
I agree with jmann & just stay quiet.

Having successfully tanked the last two GT3 RS auctions on BaT and PcarMarket for just cause, yet still getting unbelievable amounts of flack for it, I think I'll stay out of this one.
That driver's door hinge looks weird though, but I'm thinking it has to be a reflection.

Hasn't been detailed yet, couple of teaser pics. Yeah, it has the silly white Michelin tire stickers. I don't understand that fad but I didn't get skinny jeans either.
Nice! How does one go about determining the condition of the engine at that age, especially if it has quite a few track miles? Leak down test? That is a superb build!

I just gave them enough warning... If I was new to this market, I would appreciate these considerations being brought to my attention.
Moral of the story - If your car has a history, you should explain it before someone else does.
The black GT3 on BAT was for sale on eBay in January for $88k. It said it sold, but it looks like it just went to auction instead. Anyone interested in that car should probably call that dealer that was selling to see if they have any detailed info.
I think I'm in beginning stages of prepping my car for sale. Went out today and snapped a few pictures then it got late. Since the Corona Virus has put a halt to my work, I'm going to spend some time in the garage this and next week getting the car all detailed, even though it's pretty much spotless as it sits, and design a real nice classified ad.
I threw some pictures up on Flikr for the members to view.
Also just realized that the black GT3 is missing the airbag sticker on the driver's side door jamb and it looks like there is sand or something under the porsche script.

Haha, that you did. To be honest I was shocked there wasn't some type of secret dealer code that kept you from commenting on other dealer's auctions. Good on you though for calling it as you see it. I know if I was a potential buyer I would have appreciated it. Just because I don't like to cause a $hitstorm doesn't mean I don't like watching one

Is Pcarmarket a branch of BaT or just 100% copying it?
Not a branch of BaT, just copying and adding deal tank features to it, now they are planning to add "new car" section for dealerships to unload their "harder to sell" cars.
