yes, it is!

They also told me it has a brand new engine: I am not sure I mentioned that. Good thing or bad? It may mean that the previous owner was a total idiot

It looks like a sweet car! I just figured you were keeping it, someone bought it off-line, or you were looking to get what you paid last year.

This car was on consignment at Annex Houston www.annexhouston.com/ but for some reason it doesn't show in their "sold" section.

I inquired about it back in October. It's been listed and relisted multiple times on eBay between 114k and 105k with no takers.

There was no disclosure of the engine replacement at any time when I inquired about the car. That wasn't mentioned until the very last re-listing and then it was taken offline. I'm assuming sold to the dealer where it is currently.

IMHO this is a terrific spec with no options, no wart, plastic dash, halogens and buckets. I actually made a higher offer than what it is currently listed for.

There are some weird hair lines in the finish of a couple wheels. Don't know what's going with that. PPI a must.

Did you strike a deal with the highest bidder? What did it bring, if you don't mind sharing...?

I collected all of the info on this car from both Annex and Momentum in Houston.

- it has been modded and a track car from day 1 (late 2009 delivery)
- 2 owners, both tracked
- car never speced with PCCB....it has Yellow replacement calipers
- 2 owner had a range 5 overrev and blew the original engine
- ECU has been wiped by somebody - I have the receipt!
- new crate engine was installed by an independent (currently "I" range 1 overrev)

My interpretation is the shifty 2nd owner "sold a street car" to the dealer, and the dealer did not vet it properly. The dealer is now stuck with it and not representing the car honestly either. Note that with the aftermarket suspension and exhaust (and notwithstanding the independently replaced engine), this car can't be CPO'd ever! How they can get away with this touting as a CPO car on the Porsche USA website is disgusting!

That being said, this could be a good car for someone tracking, but at a very good price.....my thought is $80-82K for a highly diminished value car (heavy duty track car and car with non original engine).
I was looking for a track car, but I passed on this one.
PM me if you have any more questions.

Cheers

Seems reasonable for both buyer and seller! I will soon be in the market and it seems that the .1 GT3 range is high 70's to very low 90's (for a mint low mile car).

I saw this one, but dang, I could get a .2 GT3 with only a few more miles for that money, even with a certified pre-owned warranty.

your range seems slightly off to me. Original driver .1 GT3s with 20-30k miles seem to list for high 80s. Maybe you can end up at mid 80s or low 80s but I am curious to where you are seeing .1 going for high 70s?

I can’t ever recall seeing an ad for a .1 GT3 with a 7 in front of it.

Miles are a huge factor in pricing on these cars and grey one has 3x as many miles as the black one. I’m not saying it’s necessarily worth the ask or not but I also doubt finding a low mileage mint .1 for 90k.

Agreed. 997.1 GT3 range is 85k - 100k. In the past 2+ years I cannot recall seeing a .1 GT3 listed for anywhere in the 70s.

I just paid over 100k for a 997.1 gt3 but it had a sw 3.9 stroker.

I also agree. 70s maybe with heavy accident history.
