The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
PCM is nice but that cheap Aliexpress android head unit seems pretty tempting and I'm sure the screen blows away the dated PCM at this point and comes with integrated wireless CarPlay. I had a PCM 3.1 in my 991 and even that felt really dated. I also imagine we're not that far away from a PCCM+ solution for the 997.2 cars.

I realized I was spending too much time on this thread when I saw this post and thought to myself, “that seems like a reasonable price.”
These are definitely on the high end of the market (which Merit is known for). I don't think we're there yet for standard colors, another 12-16 months of this demand and I can see it though.
Just one data point, but I paid $188 for my 17k mile, white 7.2 (PCCB, sport buckets, clean DME) ~2 months ago. I did my research and at the time it felt about right given the condition the car was in and how well it was optioned. I can't imagine the market has moved that significantly since then. Unfortunately there's just not a lot of them listed for sale so the price uncertainty is very high.

wow, seems like all time high prices brings all time high drama in all markets... seems like listing a car is more stressful than buying one these days lol. when cheap money returns this madness is going to get even crazier... if that's even possible.
... in other news, i think i may need to ugprade the insurance carrier on my gt3. we are way, way past the days of just walking into a porsche dealer and haggling on the price of a CPO gt3...

Hagerty is about 2x the price I was paying for State Farm, but the risk of no OEM parts coverage with State Farm was too great for me.

My friend had Porsche insurance, but they seem to be getting out of some states. I run Hagerty on my GT3 and have been happy with the buy experience. They're one of the more expensive carriers but they don't have many restrictions, they just ask you to estimate mileage. Chubb and Cincinnati are good too if you're willing to bundle.
