Sold for $68k in 2020. 6,000 miles ago. Imagine getting paid $10/mile to drive a GT3!

I'm going to call them to get more info. Been looking for a driver 997 for a long time and this might fit the bill. Dreaming of a 997.2 but lately asking prices are bonkers.

If you think 997.2 GT3's are expensive now, just wait.

I contacted them. A salesman sent my photos from their garage, totally unprepped. Looks really nice. Ask was going to be around $150K, but they already have a contract being signed, so, it looks to be sold already.

There is always talk of what these cars are worth. It will never end and thats ok. For what it's worth my father bought the Issringhausen 2010 997.2 GT3 with 3700 miles. for $230. It was Non metallic Black with a basic Black interior (No leather extras or carbon extras) Basic Radio. No Bucket seats. Front end lift. PCCB Brakes and the upgraded lights compared to the basic lights. New Michelin Pilot N Spec tires. Some will say thats too much $. Some will say thats cheap. It's a #1 car and he wanted a #1 car. My only intention in posting this is to give others reference for what was paid for this quality of car with miles and options.

Looks like this ended up selling for $31,250 plus fees.
That felt like the right price for me for the drive train, GT3 parts and risk something critical was damaged - the 4 wheel steering for example so rare on this model.
Imagine for a sec - get your 996 motor rebuilt by FSI or for near the same price and a bit more hassle put a GT3 drive train in it. Just a thought.
