The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
It’s weird with the Sharkwerks engine upgrades. There was a 3.9 that sold back in 2018/19 or whatever it was on BAT, and no significant bump up in selling price. Maybe non at all. Then that white RS 4.1 sold last year on BAT with an increase of maybe $80k or so over a non modified stock RS.
The GT market is funny business. It’s fun watching everything play out, whether it’s up, down, plateau. Im a happy GT3 owner so doesn’t bother me much haha

Here's the 4.1 you were mentioning:

Even an expensive "modification" like a 3.9 or 4.1 build from the best builders should be done because someone wants that motor.
It’s been a while since a Sharkwerks 3.9 has come up for sale and I don’t think we’ve seen one since they switched to exclusively doing 4.1 builds. They’d probably bring more of a premium in modern times but who knows.

I have 92 range 4s from about 20k miles ago, so no matter how many scopes or leak downs someone will judge that negatively. I figure new Nikasil sleeves and essentially the 4.1 rebuild should give peace of mind if it was ever sold. So because I’m well over the collector miles at 35k and I’ve refreshed every wear part in the last 5k miles I’m hoping it will get judged from the 4.1 rebuild on.
but really those are all just things to help me justify it

The two .1 GT3's with Sharkwerks 3.9's didn't show much of an increase.

Also, the Broad Arrow auction write-up says this Aqua is one of 16 out of 657 for the United States.
Back when I had access to the PORS9 database, I captured a different quantity ... 15 ... and that 15 was for all of North America, not just the US.
Pls correct me if I am wrong (& point to the source please) ...
Qty 11 in 2010, and another 4 in 2011 = 15 ... and that Qty 15 was for all of North America. US got 14 of them.
Of the North America Qty 15, 5 of them were ordered with PCCB's,.. so 10 came with Iron Brakes.
I don't know the breakout of how many US verses Canada got the PCCB's, verses Iron.

9k-mile Green .1 RS. Has PCCB’s and full leather with deviated stitching. No price or photos listed. This is not the same car they had last year with damage on the Carfax.

Crazy that this car essentially doubled in price in 3.5 years. When it was listed before it had buckets and original seats included.
