I'll post a new thread when the 997.2 design is finished, this will also fit the turbo's as the scavenge pump we're trying to get around is there on the turbo's, used for exhaust cams on the .2 GT3/RS'.

I believe our 1st gen damper will fit, I have 3 left... Let me verify that the crank is the same from 996 to 997 (I believe it is as it's been 76mm stroke for all the 3.6L...) I don't believe you "need" it, but understand completely the peace of mind that comes from having it...

The proto .2 damper fit. We decided to massage it a tiny bit more to make getting the belt on and off around one of the cam oil pump housing flanges a bit easier. Thank you to Eric (Red-RSA), for his help in getting the proto tested.

I have 15 dampers on order for the final design. Been a long road, almost home...

Price has gone up a little bit, the first 15 will go for $1275.00 each includes a new Porsche crank bolt. After that they will be $1375.00 each

I'll take one Jamie. Thanks for all your hard work on this. Will it come with a tool for pulley removal / tightening? Please let me know payment instructions.

911 and TJS, you got it. I'll let you know payment details and such when I have a firm ETA on shipment!

For those looking to remove regularly (don't know why you would) a quality pulley removal tool is required... We include everything to install...

Great work and good support from Jamie and Neil, thank you!

From my experience, the SMFW and early gen2 vario-cam actuators (rev 91) don't play well together. Some combination of latest rev actuators (93) and/or the dampener is highly recommended.

Hi guys,

As soon as I have these in my hand I'll get payment details out to all of you. Don't want to take money until I see it in my hands!

The dampers for 997.2 are finally finished and on their way to me.
I've contacted:

Please shoot me an email with current interest with your address and I'll get a shipping quote together and contact you with payment details (paypal or credit cards accepted).

Price is as above for the first fifteen: $1275.00
Includes a new Porsche Crank Bolt and instructions.

Will require you to loosen the right hand lower cam oil pump cover for fitment, no big deal, just wanted all to know.

Any issues with the 3.6l cars? Just wondering.
