Last session, Clarke in front of me on slicks, tried to stick with him....fail

a few 1:48's....a clean driven lap would be in the 1:47's if I could put it together....need another day
You're driving the steering wheel off the car & hitting the curbs and he is just late apexing and disappears with those slicks. Rad, I don't know why you don't believe Clarke's times but Randy can't hang with him doing 1.48s so 1.46, even on an IPhone, sounds correct to me.

Based on your video, I think the 1.46-1.47 would come from a better launch from #14 Namerow in 2nd gear and then, and this is the hardest one to do, you just have to go up and over the hill in #1-#2 faster - kind of like Mosport #2/ #4 - you just have to launch yourself over the hill and hope it sticks and you need the wallet and skill to make it work or fix it if it doesn't - you are already near the limit everywhere else.

Great driving Randy.

Hope to see you all in Florida this winter.

His times sound about right, it's just the bootleg timing unit he's using still makes it a ballpark figure. Time to go with some legit timing equipment to put any questions about it to rest.

Seems like rand randy has battled back and made it 3-2 with a chance to tie it up at NJMP

I was thinking the same thing - $10 says Randy takes Peter at NJMP.

You can also use Randy's video. The video starts with Randy 1 second behind Clarke. After 3 laps I had it at 7 seconds - so 2 seconds per lap faster. Video shows Randy doing high 1.48s - thus would seem Clarke's IPhone timer is working pretty well in the great white north (on average).

That's the problem, quoting exact times when it's still ballpark and averages and guessing. When a simple solution is $400 (Aim Solo) away.
