Randy should have the same laps posted up soon.
Smooth as usual, Trakcar. Looks like a really nice flowing track.

Tell Randy to be careful going that far to the left to set up the uphill - there is negative camber down there and a wall (no time to save it) - your much tighter line is better and it allows you better speed over the top of the hill as there is room for the car to drift left going down the hill.

Also, try this line, you may or may not like it, but come into the 180 degree carousel and treat it more as an entry speed corner and break later and more inside and trail break it around the first part of the corner and put your right tires on the entry turtles - it shortens the corner slightly and I found I could catch cars in front of me every time doing this - it is similar to Mosport #8 and Bigben at Limerock.

what a stunning track! beautiful scenery and nice elevation changes, and that little sandstone bridge is cute.
enjoy!

no wonder all the canucks are buying all the gt3's; they got some stunning tracks between this and mosport.
any other good ones?

Which turn are you talking about? Turn 2? (going up the blind hill and then down? Or the hill right before the last turn?

No doubt that track has it all! Beautiful facility with a nice track and great area for the off track time! I do miss it and must get back up there again.

Great to see you guys are doing so well up there. I remember how cool it was to hear the exhaust under the bridge.

Hope the day goes well for you guys!

I think he is talking about T-7

the back end gets a little loose, open the steerings wheel and let the rear end steer the car to the exit rumble

Never quite realized T-7 is an uphill...

Here's the track map:

I might be wrong but I "think" he's referring to T2- T3....best to keep it tight on the right.

I'm referring to 1-2

In the video from Peter's car, you can see Randy is well left of Peter's line at the end of the front straight to set up the uphill.
You would think that this should be the 'correct' line but when you get very left, the track goes off camber and you are right next to a wall.
In some DE's they put cones down there to let you know not to go there.
You can do it - Randy did and the car stuck - but as the speeds get higher there is zero room for error down there - zero.
You can also see that Peter put his right tires over the curbing at the top of the hill - further hugging the inside - this allows for a lot of speed to be carried down the hill as the car tracks out left.

Nicely done!

Maybe you guys should find a spot to store your cars near Tremblant and fly back up here for the next 3 day DE event in August 24,25,26 - that I will be at
