That explains why he doesn't have one parked in the "GT" garage at Weissach in the 992.1 GT3 teaser video with Chris Harris. My feelings were super hurt in that I thought he omitted it for brevity, but now see it was intentional....but I agree with ChrisF, on the broad range of usability as a large part of it's desirability.

960 miles in 13 years. Seems like a total waste to me. $205+ purchase price. Not a very good investment return and they got none of the joy of driving one of Porsches greatest.

A 2009 this time, black, 17K miles. I think there were only ~20-25 2009s made for the NA market.

The only difference for 2009 I believe was the addition of a couple colors and PCM 3.0 w/XM radio. Not any changes really worthwhile IMO. The two colors added were Aqua Blue and Nordic Gold, but there was only one of each made for North America however the Nordic Gold one met its demise.

I think the car could've been better presented. I see some swirls that could've been easily polished out, some black exterior trim that needed hydration (e.g. rear valance), polish exahust tips, replace scuffed inner driver door sill, clean/replace the e-brake lever, clean the driver's lower dash, clean water spots all over the engine bay, etc. All minor stuff that could've been addressed for a grand. The tires are 10 years old too, but I'll give the seller a pass, since that's a personal decision for the next buyer to pick their brand/model of choice.

Low miles but still enough you won't feel guilty driving. The seller should chime in as well and be a good host, share something about his ownership. No sport buckets. 2009 exclusivity should be a minor bonus. Either way, lots of time to go and looks like a solid car.

Agree with above. I've been both a buyer and seller on BaT and having an engaged, open seller i think fosters confidence. It's really hard to tell what is going to make buyer(s) click though.

My car was the last non-bubble wrap GT2 to sell on BaT. At this point in the auction, it was 80% of gavel price. I think that's probably not far off for the black car. We shall see if patterns repeat here.
