GT3 is faster than the RS
Just wondering why people go for the RS?
All test driver proved that the GT3 is faster or the same as the RS.
Plus, the GT3 with all nice leather options is still faster than the more expensive but no option RS.
So what's the point for the RS besides the look and name?

I think it looks better than the RS too, as far as a street car goes. The wing on the RS is a little much/boy racer for my tastes, while the taco style on the 997gt3 flows better with the lines of the car imo.

I bet if that car don't have the RS logo, no one want it.

When I was placing my order for the GT3 I had pretty much decided that for ME the RS wasn't worth the extra money Porsche was charging for it. That was before considering any possible upcharges by dealers.

Anybody who can't see why the RS looks better than the regular GT3 must be blind or hasn't seen one from the rear.
I love the wide-body....
For ~$15k more than a GT3, why not get the RS -- it's a no-brainer.
Any excuse to post more photos.
As for performance, they should, in fact, be just about the same -- the GT3 is clearly not a better track performer than the RS. In fact, I'd wager that the RS is probably a bit better/faster than the standard GT3 on track when driven by a very comnpetent driver.... but what do I know.

The 44mm wider body and longer wheelbase is useless (no faster lap time). On street bigger and wider body is no good at all (just for the look if you like that).
The GT3 with all those nice options is the BEST for both street and track.
