@ky_gt3 is that the 991 version they sell that fits the 997 as well? Any sound clips?

I realize those two small mufflers are not going to be as quiet as the oem side mufflers,... but maybe you can tell us how much a DIFFERENCE there is between valves open & valves closed with that JCR system.

TIA
It's loud open or closed. At idle it's a pretty big difference, but as soon as it's warmed up and you're driving it's really hard to tell the difference. Stealth mode is not a thing even with a controller to force the valves closed on startup. The mufflers on the JCR really just suppress a good amount of the drone frequencies, but it still remains loud regardless. I did try it around the block without the controller and I'll admit the transition from closed to open was pretty seamless. The sound is unlike any other exhaust I've heard so far it really does achieve that RSR sound, but I do miss my quiet startups. I'll be returning this back and getting their center bypass so I can still go to the track and hopefully keep some of that RSR exhaust note.

Here's an idle and low rev clip. I have some video while driving from inside the car too, but I am not sure how it turned out. I'll upload it if it's decent

Yes this fits both 991 and 997s.

I'll work on getting a video with my GoPro. Reached out to both EvoMS & Softtronic about a tune to correct the CEL. I also learned the Kline headers are 100 Cell. Which may be another reason it triggers a CEL. Compared to your Brombacher Headers which has 200 Cell.
Had the exhaust now a few weeks. I really love this setup. Strikes a great balance of quiet when valves closed and loud when valves open. I hear a bit more overrun with this setup which makes me smile when I do. Got a tune from Softronics to correct the CEL issue. Tune not applied yet. Will be doing and before and after Dyno session mid April. Will post results.

Kline full system open values:

Put Sharkwerks bypass on. Sounds amazing.

Changed out the clutch peddle switch. Was getting intermittent immediate starts. All better now. Glad it wasn’t the ignition switch.

Did you replace the side skirts because they were worn? I have these on my car and thought they were stock. Mines an 08. Beautiful Pumpkin BTW

the .1's have the rockers that don't flare out. I'm about to upgrade mine.

Is there a side by side before and after?, hard to see a difference.

Thanks...So after looking at the pics, I do now see the flare. Is there an advantage for this or is it purely aesthetic?

@escreation where are you buying the GT2 side skirts?

I like the idea of adding a little flair out to help deflect stones etc from rising up & hitting the rear haunches.

They should fit a .2 non-RS too correct?

Narrow body 997 doesn’t have these plastic rockers. They are painted metal.

I guess I don't really care if they are plastic or metal. I just want something to deflect stones like I said.

.... are you trying to tell me (without actually telling me), that a widebody GT2 side skirt would not fit a narrow body .2 GT3??

Back when I first bought my car (4 yrs ago), there was a RLer who talked about this, and said there were several options of side skirts that could be made to fit a .2 narrow body. He even did his own car with a 991 side skirt. But I looked for a long time to find that thread, and could not find any search words to uncover it. He posted about the need to modify the bolt holes slightly on one end, but it was easy to do. So I KNOW there are solutions out there.
