That picture is perfect and really accentuates the car's stance.

I changed the pins to Giro disk (higher precision). I also noticed that the previous owner re-used the old pins when he replaced the hubs about 7k miles ago. After reading I realized having new pins is imperative to measuring the hub wear, so I replaced them to start fresh.

Autocrossed her ! Been ~20 years since I last autocrossed in a VW Jetta. Forgot how different the skill set is to track driving. Embarrassed myself first run out, but by end of day was within 2 seconds of top time. Super fun. Will definitely do more events in between track days now.

Out with the old; in with the older.
So cool that the 964 RS motor mounts fit a 997 GT. Thanks to Aaron at RennPart for getting me all of the new updated hardware (larger & thicker washer) with this OEM kit.

The 964 mounts have a high durometer rubber bushing in there for some compliance. Better than than the stock OEM mounts IMHO, there are a variety of aftermarket mounts but OEM is OEM. In my mind solid = metal to metal, locked down directly to chassis, like a cup car.
