Thanks for sharing. Now I'm curious to see how the Function First cable ends would feel. After putting some miles on my stock shifter with the Function First kit I feel it is back to having the correct amount of effort for shifts but it still feels a bit rubbery when comparing it to the Numeric. I have new OEM .1 cables. Maybe .2 cables or Function First cable ends would give it better feel.
I’d think that if you were looking to take out some of the rubbery feel I’d go Function First in your case since you have brand new .1 cables. My cables were already fairly old (probably original) and since they’re prone to snapping I figured I should order new cables while I’m at it and figured it made more sense to go for .2 since I think they were about the same price.
I think the FF kit is cheaper than .2 cables if you already have a new set of .1s and should give a slightly more solid feel than .2 cables, though I believe the FF install is slightly more involved on .1 cables from what I saw in their instructions.

Hit the road with some friends and drove to Daytona for the HSR races, was fun. Got to do some laps on track, actually cracked 26k miles on the front straight.

I got a discounted price. 11k USD for both. MSRP they are 8-9k USD each. To my knowledge I got the last complete set in stock. One Drivers left in Germany. Passenger is back-ordered no ETA. It was quite the hunt to find this set as it was at USA dealership in stock. Someone ordered them previously for a build and then backed out.
That’s a good tip for folks. Porsche dealers can see other dealer’s parts inventory. I’ve gotten a few rare parts that way and avoiding the wait for parts to ship from Germany.
