What's wrong with making money - don't think it's "slimy". Money talks - these dealers pay quickly for these unicorns then sit and wait for the right buyer for months.

Fair - but BAT lives in its own universe. I've long stopped comparing things to BAT prices - never thought there would be a time when I could get a better price straight from the dealer than some indy shop on BAT 🤣 - but here we are...

Looks like a few 997.2 and even first year 991's have been cooling off in price, but nothing that is close as a great deal as that one!

Reduced price on my 6k mile 997.2 C4S to $80k firm. Some nice tasteful mods and 2.5 years of platinum warranty included - https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1239145

Have had two buyers flake after telling me they'd buy the car for $81.5k and $80k. Anything less and I would rather just keep it since most of the F-cars I've been looking at have also been skyrocketing in price with minimal supply available.

Small world....My 2009 997.2 4s was produced 64 behind yours, VIN ending 581, almost exactly identical build sheet, except I have LSD and yours has the launch code designation. Both Meteor Grey over black, sport bucket seats, every option identical. Good luck with your sale, price seems right.

You may have more interest if you put the car back to stock. Collectors tend to want stock and will not pay a premium for the mods.

I’ve had a lot of interest already, just flaky buyers telling me they’ll buy it then disappearing or changing their mind. Don’t have any desire to put it back to stock. Rather keep it than deal with the hassle of doing that and I don’t have the original infotainment unit either. Honestly I should probably just keep it given the way the F-car market is going...
