I don’t think there is any reinforcement, brackets or seat belts mounts so it might be illegal and unsafe.

These will sell, especially the black one 2WD with lower miles. If not driven much, the black GTS would be a decent investment and could hold value or slightly increase in 2 to 5 years.

Does anyone have the number on GTSs with manuals.

Blue with blue interior . . . over 50k miles . . . Super tough sale with a very small market even with a manual.

That would be really interesting to know, but I don't think Porsche publishes any of that info. Color, transmission, etc.

Heck, a local dealer had a 15k mile PDK with Aerokit, fully loaded GTS4 in white at $76k and they had it for 3 months, and that was with a CPO. I drove it and passed, as I didn't want a PDK. I saw a couple on here with under 20,000 miles, in manual, sell for low 70's. One guy had a 40,000 mile manual GTS in red for sale at $65k for months and couldn't move it in 2015: he re-listed it in 2017 and sold it for $71k. They were desirable, but not THAT desirable to support pricing far above a 991. At some point, some people decided it was THE car to have, and demand spiked, with pricing following the upward demand curve. There are a fair amount of these out there, especially in PDK, and in 2015-2016, they weren't getting aged out, but now, people are moving on, and the higher pricing has brought more of these into the marketplace. Today, we see a fair amount of these for sale, some in really cherry configurations (such as the bucket equipped white one in Vancouver listed over the summer), but very few actually sell, which tells me that demand isn't super high right now. The market has also softened overall. The 997.2 is a great car, but the PDK configuration is never going to be the most popular with enthusiasts, and the true price of a car like that is about $5-7k over a similarly-equipped 2011 C2S.

You probably just bought at the peak-wrong time, and/or paid too much. Hey, it happens to the best of us. If it is your forever car, pay what you want and drive the wheels off!

No affiliation comp cars: here is a CPO'd PDK GTS with 33,000 miles. Asking prices are below $70k on all of these.
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...172_isFeatured

PNH (All-star dealership) has had this CPO'd GTS with 29,000 miles for a long time now.
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=254331537

CPO'd PDK cab at Rusnak with your mileage for $63k
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...ting=255447541
CPO GTS update (9 days since above post). . . GTSs seems to be moving pretty dang good for winter month, at least models with lower mileage.

The only one above not sold is the GTS cab above with 55k miles remains a tough sale and was dropped to $61k.

RE: Sold recently

The 2 models above with 33k and 29k moved super quickly when they dropped the prices just below $70k. Both now appear to be gone from dealers' websites.

This 2011 GTS black cab with 27k miles listed for $76k is no longer on the dealer's website.
https://nationalpreownedporsche.com/...allic+30069307

That blue GTS cab for $69 with 30kish miles is now gone (no longer on national locator, did not check dealer website) . . . I still think blues on a NA non-GT3 are a tough sale so not surprised it took about 45 ish days.

Looks like only 3 CPO GTSs currently on PCNA locator that are also on dealer websites as available:

2011 GTS pdk and 39k miles so a little higher on miles.

https://nationalpreownedporsche.com/...Black+29640725

Then we have the 2 manual CPO GTSs above for $94k and $100k.

I dunno, but based on recent sales and how quickly there are moving even for winter months, you got a steal.

Did you purchase your GTS cabriolet first day listed? You could probably sell yours for $80k ish, maybe more, with that build, low mileage, CPO and a manual.

Porsche dealers were selling these GTS manuals in the mid $70k range and other dealerships were snatching them up and jacking the price into the $90k range. Based on the current 2 CPO GTS manual listings at $94 and $100k, I don't think we shall see many more GTS manuals at Porsche dealerships with low miles selling for anything south of $85k or perhaps $90k. Seems like they learned their lessons here . . .

Here is a red GTS CPOed with 42k miles that was listed for $73k and sold in a week based on Carfax showing listed for sale on 12-6-19. But check the trend in price versus mileage below.

https://nationalpreownedporsche.com/...s+Red+31254343

https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...389&source=BUP

Here is a CPO GTS cab with 54k miles priced at $64.8k.

https://nationalpreownedporsche.com/...allic+29045913

Then the 2 CPO cabs in the 20k mile range are $73k and $75.8,

https://nationalpreownedporsche.com/...White+29720909

https://nationalpreownedporsche.com/...allic+30069307

There is another CPO GTS coupe with 39k miles listed for $71k.

https://nationalpreownedporsche.com/...Black+29640725
From the above GTSs, there are only the 2 left I mentioned in my above posts . . . The GTS cab with 55k miles for $61k and the GTS coupe with 39k miles for $71k and these are the only two on the PCNA national locator except for the $94k and $100k manuals that I saw, could have missed one, that appear available and still listed on dealer websites.

The other 3 above are gone since the above a week or so ago.

I’m not much of a GTS fan but when I run my Carrera S searches each day, the 2k-mile 2011 GTS, white with aero kit, at Rancho Santa Fe Auto pops up each time. Maybe because of PDK, but it’s been sitting on AutoTrader at $99k for a long time. The aero kit really gives the car a sporty look.

Yeah, I put a deposit down the first day it listed, 15 minutes before the dealer closed. It was from upstate NY and I think it was snowing there that day. The sales manager told me they had a lot of 911's on the lot and they weren't moving. I don't think they wanted another 911 cab on the lot and priced it to move. I don't think they quite understood where the market was for that car. If I didn't put the deposit down then, it was sold the next morning at opening. They had a lot of calls on it afterwards.

I'm thrilled to see where the market is for these. Nothing disheartening like stretching a bit to buy a certain car and seeing the market go down after buying it. I couldn't be happier right now, especially seeing GTS' pulling much stronger money than "13-14 C4S' etc. The only problem now is I shouldn't drive the s**t out of this thing and rack up the miles. I have a plan though, I am in the process of convincing the wife that a Cayman S with a PDK would be fun, without the apprehension of a manual trans for her.

Yeah, that is a ridiculous price for a pdk. Manual and it would have sold. I think in pdk it is a low $80k car. To me, 2k miles means zilch. I would pay a little more for 2k miles than 15k miles, but not much more. I would probably want a 7 year-old car withonly 2k miles to be a CPO car as there is no telling what might happen. It may be rock solid as new and perfect for years or it could be a basket case because It was never driven and not even broken in 7 years later.

I am in good as well as a Mercedes dealership in Waco Texas listed mine as an S. They took it in on trade late Saturday, the sale manager drove it home to Dallas that night, the dealership listed it on Sunday when they were closed as an S with no photos, but they did list the Vin #. I saw it pop up as newly listed, ran the Vin to see if it was a 997 or 991 and it came up as a GTS. I called the national Autonation line that was open and Sunday and was able to get a hold on the car and spoke to sale manager while he was driving it back to the dealership on Monday morning.

not sure about newer ones, but on my 997.1 GT3 all you had to do was cut away the carpet for the bolts to go through to the mounting points under the carpet.

Wow, great catch. Did they ever figure out their mistake? And if so, I'm surprised they honored it. What a big screw up.

This just shows that there are deals to be had, you just have to be ready to jump when necessary. You cannot hesitate, otherwise its gone within minutes or hours.

Spending that kind of money on a car was a great leap for me, but I was comfortable with it because I did my homework and waited. No instant gratification. Kind of like an ambush predator, patience, patience, patience, POUNCE!
