Wow. That is a steal. 10 sec 1/4 m car... TTS with PCCBs, SC+ super sofa cooled seats with only 42k for mid $80s??! There has to be a story there or something I feel. That is half the cost. depreciation is killing the turbo owners.. even the new 991s are notoriously tanking. good for us.
Sweet. Bummer I just purchased as I like this one very much.
If someone wants to step up the $ into the 80K range I would say hands down easily a 997.2TTs is the best all around car....for 80K range IMO your getting a legit super car in the TTs... just said last week I cant believe these are now in the 80ks price bracket.... another year or two will be mid low 70s maybe and thats a no brainer. Would love ma a TTs....
I think the 997.2tts are hitting floor and will stabilize provided clean and lower mileage. I just one up, my second after having several 996tts, .1tt and .2tt all purchased new. Just got back in to the turbo game with a used cab.
Looking for 09-13 911, or 911S Coup. Have about 40-55 to spend. PDK preferred, must be well optioned. If you see something within 500 miles of So-CA I sure would be obliged. please send PM
Nope they are selling for this... a 997 gts at my local dealer just sold for 69k Was cpo and lower miles (under 20k) but was just a gts. No factory aero.
Ok sub 20k miles and CPO I would price at 69k. The red car we are discussing seems to have 45k miles.

Another bay area 997.2 GTS listed in the mid sixties. The CPO car with under 20k looks like a pretty solid buy. I'm not arguing that the 997.2 GTS's are worth the premium they're getting, just that that sub 20k GTS for $69k looks like a solid buy compared to the market. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5965114828.html
Thanks to the OP for creating this thread. For sometime I've been following a similar thread in the 964 section. I'm still searching for my first Porsche and going back and forth but leaning more towards a 997 due to supply/demand factors.
Apologies in advance but if I may circle back to the .1S vs. .2 base discussion. What would you all say is a fair price for .1S? I'm looking to purchase one in 30-35k range. However, I'm not sure if my expectation is too low and would possibly need to raise my budget? Thank you gents in advance for advising this newbie.

The majority of C2S and C4S cars are under $40K.
Let's hope this continues for the 997.2

The jury is still out if the GTS I won on ebay is a winner or a loser, so without considering that I think this black GTS with 34k miles at $65k is decent deal. I'm basing this not on the listing prices I've researched on, but the kind of counter offers I've gotten from my negotiation.

A long time lurker here. Test drove few Cayman's over this past year but no bueno. Kids kept saying they want to ride in back so looking for a 911. There is a 2010 911 Carrera S for 49k with 32K miles. It comes with sport chrono package, PDK not manual. Is that a good price (I think it is)?
I am planning to get it checked out by at a local shop that does German cars only. I know the folks there for last 8 years including owner.
PS:Please excuse my ignorance when it comes to anything Porsche.
