Seems like the one constant is very few want Macadamia in any combination or cocoa interior as even the certified "deals" on these are sitting even at steep discounts. Neither dark green nor brown of any shade belong or look right on a modern 911 . . .

Agreed. Last march before I bought my GTS I was very tempted by a smoking hot deal on a Macadamia.. and although I like it well enough I knew from how long it and other cars in that color sat.. that I'd have a hard time selling it if the need or want ever arose.

Good to know. I always used it as a way to identify a second gen. I checked my car's build sheet and there it was, a $690 option.

Geoff.

Never been. Wife went once in her orange Gallardo convertible back in the fall with some people she was working with at the time. We spend about 4 months a year in Destin and fair amount of time in San Diego.

I totally disagree. I just purchased a '12 CPO 4S with 26k miles and factory aero that I found on this thread for $10k below KBB. Oh, and and it is boring *** silver.

I'm selling my macadamia and am currently pending sale after it being on car gurus for 3 days. Selling for $1,500 less than I bought it for a year ago which is decent depreciation.

I honestly wish the 4S was macadamia as it is a much better color.

I tried to work a deal on your car hours before you got there as I wanted a 997.2 with factory aero as a daily driver. I am just not feeling the 991s. Silver was a deterrent, but I like your car. I also tried to trade a 2017 M3 Competition Package with 600 miles in on your car and they offered me $62k for the trade. I just kept the M3 and picked up 997.2 turbo cab. Should be here this week.

I'm in Destin right now

Live over in Navarre Beach - if any of you Rennlisters are around would love to see more Porsches - most people here have Corvettes and 80,000 dollar trucks.

i think macadamia is a sale-proof color. so i see that. but i actually love my cocoa interior (platinum silver exterior). the whims of the market, i guess...

I've actually never met him but that Lamborghini DUI made headlines here and was the talk of the town - though i'm impressed he got his own charge dismissed entirely. He must be good!
