i haven't tried it on halo777 car yet but will do shortly. can't see why it wouldnt work as I can see the coding tab right in the gateway module 'multi-function steering wheel'.

i am guessing that the 'real' multifunction wheel coding tab (in the same gateway module) is 'steering wheel electronics' setting.

Default hey vgvt!

Good to see you on Rennlist! Dont have a side by side, but these are some recent pics...

I cant give you a in depth comparison of the two, as I still haven't really had a chance to drive the S6 for an extended period. Ive only driven it from shop to shop, to get the project work done. Over the last two years since I bought it, Ive driven it maybe 8 hours max, and that is in its unfinished state.

Right now, the S6 is troubleshooting misfire issues, like every other v10 S6 has to go through, sooner or later in its life. It looks like it is due to the fuel injectors, so next step is to replace all of them. We held off for awhile on swapping them, just because of the cost. But I had them pulled this week and four out of ten fell apart on removal. So, it is a good chance the misfires were due to the injectors.

Im running two car projects at once, which means both are moving along at a snails pace. You already know about the S6 project. Well, the 997 has a bunch of stuff planned too. Here are some parts Ive collected, ready for install once I can swap cars with the S6...

Ill start up a build thread once I get everything installed.

That's awesome. And yes of the injectors I replaced two on my s6 when it had 55k miles. Defirnely ran much better with no misfires after that. Still kicking myself as to whether I want another c6 or move up to the larger d3, after driving the two I actually liked the c6 more....excited to see the two completed projects!

Love the c4s. How do you like t so far, Lola like mostly cosmetic stuff now with more coming, the full header back exhaust etc.

You should have two very fun and completely different last of the NA beasts when done

Good luck and i look fwd to staying up to date on both!

any news on this ? I have 08 c2s manual. Airbag light on with 997.2 wheel. I enabled the multifunction option in durametric pro but didn't work any other features to do ?

did you reset airbag faults codes?

unfortunately it looks like for 997.1 owners a new 997.2 steering wheel module is must to get the newer airbag horn working

Hey Denis! I didn't make the connection myself. Good to hear from you!

I finally got a hold of Durametric, but was not able to fix the horn with coding modifications. I will need the 997.2 steering control module to make it work.

Did you ever get those wheels mounted up? If so, please post some pics when you have a chance

No, I still have them boxed up. Maybe this summer I'll get around to installing them. Good thing is they wont go bad
But once I do I'll sent you lots of pictures as promised !!

You don't need anything for your horn to work. Just someone with Piwis to enable MF. Has been done numerous times on all sorts of 997/1's and Cayman/Boxster too.
I am sure yours isn't any different.

I tried that with Durametric, but maybe I didnt do something right. Or maybe, there is another setting with PIWIS that Durametric doesnt have.

Well, Ill keep trying !!!

Thanks for the tip

I'm in the same boat. Enabled mulitfunction wheel with Durametric, but it didnt help. I am wondering if PIWIS has the ability to resolve the issue, based on Denis' post above.

I read on 6 speed several guys tried to enable MF with Duramtric and did not succeed. Also it is not listed on the Durametric website as possible to enable.

As an example see post #26 :

Durametric info : http://www.durametric.com/modelfeaturematrixv6.aspx#997
