Looks great, you however need a cpl of more Red pieces to tie it all together. Either a cpl of small trim pieces in red, or red belt?

Thanks

You mean something like this

There is only so much red I can stand, so I think that'll be about it for the interior.

Now, Im going to have to work on exterior mods, because the outside is looking rather plain compared to the inside. There are the red calipers (old pic, but nothing on the outside has changed....yet)

In any case, Ill ping you soon to setup a time to drop by.
Did you ever get the horn to work? Did you need to get a new module? If so, what is the PN for the module? If no module needed how did you get the horn to work?

Thx,

John

I couldn't drive without a horn.

I had a blue-hair in a Hyundai Santa Fe nearly flatten me this morning when she was merging onto a relatively slow-moving highway. Wasn't even looking. She just signalled and slowly wandered towards my lane. Horn saved me.

I actually need to install the Mitsuba Air-Bullet horns I bought in Tokyo, too, come to think of it.

Yup, that looks great! Enough red pieces to bring it altogether!

Any updates, halo777? I finally got my mitts on a .2 round airbag, but my horn doesn't work either!

K, if you don't figure it out by Jan give me a call. I bet I know how to fix it.

To activate the horn you do not need any parts or module, you just need to activate the multi function steering wheel feature.
The moment you do that your horn will work.

Your Porsche dealer can do it with his PIWIS computer. He'll look at you like you're a fool because your steering wheel does not have the MF feature.

Kindly insist

When he's done you'll both be amazed the horn magically works.

Maybe duramtric can activate MF steering as well, I don't know.

my 2008 with working horn LOL

I'll take you up on that. I was just poring over your thread on the install of your OMP Carrera Cup car wheel.

I'll start up a new thread to chronicle my own steering wheel swap odyssey.

I'll give this a shot if the dealer will do it for free, or for a nominal cost. Admittedly, I have not called any of my local dealers to inquire about this service.

I am not going to pay $150 for ten minutes' worth of time behind a PIWIS terminal.

My P-dealer did it for free. Takes much less than 10 min.

Sorry for the late reply...

I haven't gotten mine working as of yet. I do have access to a durametric pro, so I'll give the MF trick a try as soon as I can make the time.

In the meantime, please update the thread with any progress and I'll do the same.

And agreed, that interior with the tan sport buckets is beautiful!

Cheers!
