Hi, I just saw a post of yours for four years ago about a 911n996 with a replacement engine. I'm looking at a similar deal and have receipts showing a 996-100-996-bx. Did you ever find much information about that replacement? The one I'm looking at was done in 2006 and rumor has it that it has the larger internal IMS, but I'm just trying to prove that out. Seeing in you remember what you may have learned from your experience. Thank you.

80K miles is fine - just make sure you get service history and for sure a PPI(pre-purchase inspection)

I found all your quarters! I never have to find quarters for the meter again (like I would street park anyway)!!!

How did I miss your car? Tell me the specs and history. Maybe I'll save you German buyer headaches

thanks for the reply. but there are several variations of 'gold' during the SC/3.2 years.

from my limited research, I think the white gold (weiss gold) was a special order in 84-85. from your pic, it looks very close to the color of my car. not having to paint would make it so much easier.

still interested. struggling with decision on some kind of tail for next year.

    groovzilla,
saw your post for the turbo tail. do you know what color that is? been considering a tail of some sort. leaning toward RS3.8. but if your tail happens to be the same color as my car ....

my car is an 85, weissgold.
