You need to look into the magsafe cases/mounts.

Worked with @gjenk to get the vents ready for paint. PITA of a job but got a good process down to disassemble the vents. These are the old vents off my RS that @gjenk purchased to refinish.

This weekend:
Learned how to get up on 4 jack stands
Removed and cleaned the wheels, not AMMO NYC level, but cleaned...
Installed all new brake pads and flushed brake fluid
Noted just how dirty the entire car really is, and while ashamed, smiled because driven = loved

While you are at it, you should take off the rear mud flaps and clean out all the dirt that is definitely trapped in there if you have never done it!

Finally changed the starter. I had changed the Alt/Starter/Battery cable 4-5 years ago which helped but with the battery fully charged the cold starts were getting r e a l l y slow and hot starts sounded like I had a weak battery. I should have just replaced the starter back then. While I was there I cleaned the throttle body, MAF and replaced the air filter. Car started up like I have never heard before. Sounded like the starter was running 4x the speed of the old one. Hot starts are a non-issue now.

I replaced my license plate lights with an LED kit my kids got me for X-mas. I also installed full color Porsche crest and lettering puddle lights. I am a bit surprised at how good they look as cheap as they were. They were posted on the 991 forum not to long ago and thought why not give them a try.

I just stuck my MagSafe mount to the magnet mount. Looks fine. But it’s so nice not having to plug in to charge.

Default What did you do to your 997 today?

New Fuchs and a new 991 steering wheel. What a difference replacing the old steering wheel. Feels so much better and really updates the interior. Working on a small duck tail to add to the retro Fuchs.

p.s.- got a seat cover because the Golden adores riding around with the top down but he can really scratch up the seat. Added to the drivers also for balance...does not look great but they fill a need.
