This is the Maisto model, costs 50 USD and comes in blue (or yellow if I remember correctly):
Amazon Amazon

Now, finding the dealer edition NOREV 997.1 S cab (1/18) in silver, that's another task entirely

Picked up the vanity plate for the 997 to match the one on my truck. Yes, I’m aware of how nerdy this is. Let me know if anyone gets it

That's one cool truck!
Mine is a 2009 with 190,000 miles on it - still going strong (daily driver).

Thanks man. 2000 w/180k, OME/Bilstein suspension, 31x10.5 K02’s, snorkel, ARB Baja bar, trail gear sliders, etc. Perfect for taking the ktm out, camping and wheeling. Also takes about 60% of daily driver duties.

You did a great job. I've been wondering about Black and Red accents on my silver car and this proved to me just how good it can look.

I'm driving my new to me 2008 C2 much more than I thought I would so I picked up a Thule rack for trips to the beach. Seems fairly well thought out for this platform.

Finally got the car running today.

Mounted new CA plate (rear only). It took 40 days to get the out-of-state title sorted out from my purchase in AZ...

Filled coolant system, and was able to draw a clean 26 psi with vac tool. I ended up adding 6 gallons of coolant with new center radiator installed (50% coolant with 50% distilled water, also added a bottle of water wetter).
Coolant level is sitting at Min line last I checked, probably need to top off with another Qt or so.

Reconnected battery and was hit with every possible dashboard warning on initial startup (Check Engine Visit Workshop, Transmission Emergency Run, Drive Off Assistant Failure, Service Now)
Couldn't for the life of me figure out why I was getting so many errors until I realized I had left the MAF sensor disconnected. Derp.
Eventually used Durametric to clear all the codes. not the most intuitive software but I think i've figured it out.

Despite me clearing all the erroneous codes. I'm still getting a persistent 1090 error (MAF) in the Durametric. Apparently this code will not throw a dash light, so I'm not sure if this existed before I bought the car or if it just happened since I took the air box apart.
I'll try cleaning the MAF sensor before replacing it. This may explain occasional stumbling coming off idle?

Passed a milestone on the way to work today. The car runs like a dream and puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel.

Picked up a gt3 rear bumper painted in my color a while ago and was debating if I should install it. The problem was figuring out how to do the center exhaust which meant doing some kind of custom work or getting another center exit exhaust system. I currently have the TubiStyle exhaust and I really wanted to keep it because it sounds sooo good so it'll really suck if I had to replace it. Another thing was I wanted to keep my stock cats since I didn't want to have problems when I need to smog my car in California. I found some gt3 style center exit muffler tips from design911 that was basically the same ones on FVD website but about $400 less and it arrived in 3 days from UK. Honestly I wasn't expecting it to be a straight bolt on and thought I'd had to take it to a muffler shop for some fabrications but surprisingly it bolted straight up to my TubiStyle exhaust! Not sure how I feel about the tips because they are quite big and do protrude a little.
