Congrats... also, next time you pull her in when wet, you should use that leaf blower to get the water drops off.

I have the factory Porsche cover. It was $$$ but very nice quality and a huge Porsche logo on the hood and fits the car so snugly. Only for indoor use obviously.

Before

After
Installed Lamin-X Smoked wrapping on rear tail lamps. I'm quite happy with the darker appearance and saved about $500 on new rear lights. Easy installation.

Thanks for the response. I've seen that cover before, but wanted to make sure it fit as good as it shows in the picture.

Default What did you do to your 997 today.

Well I drove my 2009 C4S today for the first time since I put it away last December. Stabilizer in the tank, battery kept up on trickle charger. Fired right up, backed it out of the garage , let it warm up at idle, everything smooth as silk. Drove off headed to an alumni club social and drove beautifully for 4 blocks and all hell broke loose. WTH, now running VERY rough, miss firing all over the place check engine light flashing and big old RED exclamation point showing along with admonition to take to dealer. Limped back home 4 blocks and pulled back in garage cursing and resigned to call for flatbed transport. Shut off engine, waited 10 seconds and thought WTH , let's try again. Restarted, everything smooth as silk, CEL off, red exclamation point gone. Drove off 25 miles to my meeting and later returned with nary a hiccup. WTH happened?

Something like that happened to me a while ago and turned out to be a coil pack...

Default Birthday Drive!!

Took my 06 C4S cabriolet on a nice long ride to Wilmington NC to play some golf with pops. 500 miles with not a hiccup or a sputter. Hit 72000 miles and about 140mph through some weird part of Southern VA/Northern NC. Such a pleasure drive and so happy i did it. Thought I would be slightly uncomfortable but oddly enough it was quite enjoyable. A few notes: VA has some great road surfaces. NC has some really big flying bugs that go SPLAT and leave loads of gooo on the windscreen and.......most dump truck drivers are completely insane. That’s all i have. Heading back north Sunday. Let’s hope for less bugs, dump trucks and smooth sailing.

I need an outdoor cover like that. I wonder if they make one.

Here’s a few of the indoor cover. I think it’s made to accommodate the GT3 wing so it’s a little baggy in the rear with just my Ducktail
