What did you do to your 997 today?

I've often been intrigued by the statement "I replaced my engine mounts with XYZ setup, and the shifting is better". This of course, would be valid for solid rod type shift linkages. I can't understand how our car's flexible cable type shift actuation is affected by a few mm difference in dynamic engine movement reduction. Just think how cable operated motorcycle front brakes (remember those?) used to operate right up into the 80's for dirt bikes with long travel suspension etc.
BTW, your new mounts look trick, to say the least. I have a set of RS mounts to go in when I decide to crack out the car jacks!!
cheers,
Craig

First shakedown after Tarett Cup Cables and X51 oil pan baffle, experimental 2.5'' short path X exhaust that I MIG'ed up, a lot of suspension upgrades, front tie and rear adjustable track/toe rods and new calipers/350mm rotors/GT3 master cylinder. No fires, dislodged parts, and car stops so it was a good day Missed driving this thing!

Drove 418 miles roundtrip from our house, to Paso Robles, CA for the Spring Release Party at one of our favorite wineries (Venteux Vineyards). Cloudy and cool morning gave way to a beautiful blue sky in the afternoon....
