Add me to the list of folks with snapped shifter cables....at least that is my assumption. I was shifting from second to third and felt a pop. Now the shifter moves freely fore and aft but does not move left and right, and the transmission is stuck in third gear. Fortunately I was still in the neighborhood just three or four blocks from home so I managed to limp home in third gear. I know the car is almost 11 years old but still very disappointing to have such a critical failure with only about 42k miles on the clock.

It's possible the cables just popped out of their mounts so the ends have nothing to leverage a giant to move. Common issue. If that's the problem, once you get them seated again in the mounts, wire tie them in there so they can't pop out again.
If the plastic ends did in-fact break, you can either replace the complete cables with upgraded versions from Numeric or you can replace just the ends with those from Function First.
Quick wash, then installed Bovee1000 unit.
Hillarously simple plug & play. Plug & play, yes that easy.
Does this allow Bluetooth streaming of music from an Android phone? The website says yes in some places and then only mentions iPhones in other places.
Sorry to hear about your cable problems gsdpic, as chance would have it i'm installing Numeric cables as we speak along with resprayed bumper with molded in smiley face grille, painted my wheel centers, adjustable toe links with lockout plates, agency power roll bar/rear seat/bose sub delete, few other goodies naturally

Reason: roll bar too
Finally a day without rain in SoCal. I installed new motor mounts (Rein from RennPart) and the rear end behaves so much better. Tail pipes sit better after install but not perfect so I adjusted them. Not only does it drive better but the amount of vibration in the cabin is reduced. Not sure why I waited so long.
Next up are new front LED fogs lights and a complete replacement of all window tint. The tint is old, hazy and a bit to dark for SoCal.

Hi there Icey!
yep, works with my Android, but I had to unpair my iPhone first. I think the Bovee only allows 1 connection at a time.
Cheers
Craig.
Sweet, thanks for the response. I recently started using Spotify and was disappointed to find that my Galaxy S9 only communicates with my ‘09 with the phone. The car doesn’t play music from the phone, even when it’s hardwired to the console interface.
Last night I installed my RS shift **** to match my LedermanZ steering wheel. I love the splash of matching red on my controls (pedals, shifter, and wheel).
I consoled her... And assured her that March in Seattle usually isnt like this.... This is her first PNW winter and the transition from SoCal has been hard 😆

I use an MPOW adapter that connects to the phone for music streaming but still.allows the phone to connect to the PCM for the phone profile on my Android. Both can be connected simultaneously. Charges from the USB and pumps the music in through the aux plug.
