I have no qualms with PDK, especially in the 991, but the 997 chassis deserves nothing less than a 6MT. Just my $0.02.

BUT

Got something more fun. 997.1 C2S Launch Edition, 6spd, lsd, pccb. MUCH more fun than the GTS,

As always fitted aerokit the next day and carrera sport wheels on the way

Here is the first look,

Nice car. I guess were all different. I bought my car 3 weeks ago and it had the Aero kit from the factory but I removed it and installed a stock bumper and deck lid. Did a swap with another member and he loves it. Hes also half my age
While i think the look is awesome and has its place it just wasnt me to run around town doing errands in a race car look.
Have fun with the car

Manual and LSD makes for a totally different and more engaging driving experience. PDK gets boring after a while.

Mine didn't have the LSD like yours and PDK got boring after a while.

Over the past few weeks, got the wheels refinished and lowered.

HRE 542R on 997C2S lowered on H&R springs.

Joined the List. Black friday shopping for all the mods I want to do...Someone stop me .
2005 C2 6spd - 79k- Bought used with lowering springs, some custom exhaust mod and a ram air wing.

All together love the car but I have grand ambitions for it. Needs:
Tint
Wheels, Wheel spacers
Calipers Painted
FABSpeed Intake
FABSpeed Muff bypass
Smoked LED Tails
LED Headlights
Shorty shifter
Center console paint

If anyone on here knows the previous owner of this car please let me know. It came from Livermore Porsche in Northern California.

Installed a replacement part--997.555.361.01 Driver's side door pivot spring. (Handle popped and lost its retention capability).

Don't be afraid of venturing into your door panels. Ultimately, everyone will have to dig into theirs at some point.

Just over 113,000 miles.

Don't stop. LOL

Car looks great so far. I agree with some of your "needs" on your list. Wheels will make a huge difference just from an aesthetic viewpoint. The rest will come.

On a .1 car, muffler bypass is going to be undriveable from a noise perspective unless you're just making a track car. Better to get some high performance mufflers from Fabspeed. On a .2 center muffler bypass is common, but that's because it still has other mufflers - the .1 cars only have the side mufflers.

Going to have a tough time finding good tinted LED taillights as Depo / Dectanes are no longer made in that look and the Spyder brand for the 997 aren't any good.

If you have Xenon headlights, the LEDs won't be an upgrade. If you have Halogens, then they probably will if you get good ones.

Happy shopping.

On the Fabspeed muffler bypass, just watched this video on that. Read the reviews and judge for yourself. Btw.....he didn't "straight pipe" as he says, just the bypass you're thinking about:
