One time chem major, full-time worry wart. Methanol (aka wood alcohol) is very toxic, so handle with extreme caution.
Was a blissfully cool (by our standards) morning, low 70s, so I got up early, did some work, fired off a few emails to the minions, and then hit the road in the 997. A low-speed cruise as the police seem to be everywhere today (last day of month, time to make those quotas?!?), but still a lot of fun. Driving this car never seems to get old. Cleared 59K, and I am trying to talk the wife into a short road trip, so we can go over 60K in style...T

Yep. I try to make sure that I eclipse the big, round mileage milestones the way the good Dr. Porsche intended - Sport+, twisty back road, and speeds that may yield a quickened pulse...T

The wheels and experience with 360 Forged have both been quite positive. I highly recommend looking at their "One-Off" offerings.

May just end up painting the rest, haven’t decided yet
My friends shop so not sure how much it would cost elsewhere.

I tend to do everything myself, but NOT with a spray gun. I leave that to the pros because I learned my limitations There are just too many encounters of a blotch job. One little mishap and there goes your entire effort and there is no short cut on rectifying a blotch job other than to start all over again.

Just Wondering- Something just for the heck of it?
Since this is a what have you done for your 997?
Maybe it is Too much time or money to be considering addtions that only I will see or enjoy, like adding Aluminium touches to my baby, like the faux aluminum or real metal aluminumGas Cap or Aluminium Pedals for a PDK?
Just wondering, addtions that really only I would see and appreciate, or is it really, no matter what changes one makes, "We" are the ones that truly appreciate the changes?
Why is it some mods seem frivolous and others while costing more seem needed, and what determines the difference.?
Eye of the beholder, sure but Just Wondering?

^If it floats your boat and ain't taking food outta your kids' mouths, do it!
Discovered two new towns this morning in the 997 that I never heard of before, Dexter, Texas and Walnut Bend, Texas. Or, I don't remember if I did. Dang old age!
