Attended a local Cars & Coffee event. A Lambo LP550 snuck its way into Porsche row next to my 997S.

Long needed wash, detail, claybar, wax, remove wheels and detail (I need brakes & rotors btw) (I need a new thumbnail too, from scraping off all those little blemishes) (I also need to maybe plug two screws that the tires acquired) while the wax dries, and hand rub off all the wax.

I'm beat. But she sure is shiny. And I hope she forgives me for the prior neglect.

Was going to detail the inside but a fine Komifornia wine was calling my name. And I'm beat.

Finally installed my Skene no front holes license plate bracket to resolve my fix it ticket. With front plates now, my car looks like Bugs Bunny

That must have been awesome! That's where the wife and I did our honeymoon many moons ago. Would be fun to do that in a 997...T

It was great indeed, the sun was out and the bubbles tasted great
We go regularly to the region (it's only a three hour drive) but it was the first time in the 997, which definitely heightened the experience!

Also did a quick photoshoot in the pits of the old Reims track:
