Tried on different size wheel spacers, and my new Fuchs replicas with Michelin 4S tires from an ECS trial kit I bought. Want to get the right look. This is the front.

Angry Took Fido to the dog park

Took Fido to the dog park today after changing the stock engine mount on my 997 to RSS semi solid mounts. I like it, but Fido disapproves because he was whining all the way. Perhaps the new engine mounts are emitting a frequency that I can't hear and it comes across as very annoying to him.

Why thank you! She's a star, and she knows it! Best of all, the groomer moved to a small town on the outskirts of the Metroplex. So, I left a tad early & we got a little back roads fun in on the way there, and I enjoyed l a few new roads for the hour or so it took to shampoo and groom her. Win win...T

Received my new coils, spark plugs and coil hardware. I'm going to take the week to do my homework on this forum and decide if I will remove the exhaust before tackling the replacements for the first time.

Jack up the rear, remove tires and remove the muffler, the you have easy access to the coil and plugs.

It is indeed. Seems to be a relatively rare colour.

Replaced the coolant overflow cap with the updated design just because I felt I should. Also did my first Oil/Filter change on this new to me 997S. Took about an hour with most of the time waiting for the oil to drain. Cut the filter apart and no debris found.

Next oil change I will do a oil analysis as I dont know if the PO used any oil additives or injector cleaners that may change the results.

Sadly looked at it still wrapped up for winter storage, accepting that it will be at least next weekend until I can consider bringing it out for the season.

May I ask how did you inscribe the porsche logo again.

Porsche logo after painting them is a decal or stencil. Here is a link to one place that sells them.

Gear oil change, serp belt, oil change, engine air filter, cabin filter this weekend...only 30k miles, but a 2006. Filters were original so they were filthy. Gear oil was fine...serp belt looked brand new.

I did most myself, but had the dreaded "spinning tension bolt." I monkeyed with it for an hour and gave up as I couldn't get my wrench back there for tightening. Mechanic charged me 150 and took him 10 minutes...ugh!

Gear oil change was suggested at 12 year mark, plus I was having some issues with sticking in 1st gear. Too early to tell a difference, but so far, no first gear sticks.

The shop that did the powdercoating did it for me. I believe they used a high temp adhesive product, but they told me it was custom cut from a logo downloaded from the web.
