315 miles on her this weekend. South NJ to Cold Spring and Storm King NY and back.
(And the car is filthy because it rained overnight... )

Didn't do to it but with it. Did a track day at Area 27 in Oliver, British Columbia, Canada. New motorsports club with a track designed by Jacque Villeneuve. It's a pretty technical 16 turn, 3 mile course. Huge amount of fun.

Scottie, are you a member of this private track? I understand you can bring a guest for a track day. We should talk.

Hi Jennifer. Alas no, not a member. This track day was organized by a friend of a friend and nobody in the group was a member. They are very receptive to renting the track to groups for the day and it included instruction and coaching from Richard Spenard plus a couple of other pro and semi pro driving instructors.

If you're referring to me, I'm pretty sure I must be the former, because I've given up on keeping this car permanently spotless

1 month into my 997.2 ownership, enjoying the ride!! Just completed install of Fister sport mufflers to go with Sharwerks x pipe, now it sounds as good as it looks! Don't be afraid to self install some of your mods, great feeling of satisfaction in the process. With all the great advice available on this website and a few metric tools... The sweat equity is awsome,

I own two black Porsches. I'm clearly a sadist AND a perfectionist. I'm going to learn to vinyl wrap

Dropped my 997.2 off at the dealership for PDK service and cel diagnosis.

Was treated by what was already in the shop being worked on.
A 918 Spyder and a Carrera GT.
I had never seen a Carrera GT in person before today.

Finished H&R spring install, ECS 10/15mm spacers, new rear brake pads (finally fixed brake squeal!!!)

The H&R springs ride smoother than OEM in my opinion. Minimal increase in road feel, slightly stiffer, but not bouncy at all. They ride great so far.

I un-tinted my windshield. I bought a FL car and the windshield was tinted which looked really cool. Then I drove to the Watkins Glen IMSA race. I left at 4am. In a downpour. In heavy fog. For over two hours of driving. When I got back, it took 10 minutes to remove the tint and 3 hours to remove the glue. Luckily I was only charged $18 for new inspection and emissions stickers as the old ones came off with the tint. Here is pic of the car before I removed the windshield tint. I must be getting old, because I chose being able to see over looking cool.....
