Stared at it longingly in the garage while eyeing the 4 inches of snow + 2 inches of solid ice that have now coated every square inch of my area... and broken a bunch of trees.

I'm with jsalah ..... After washing my C4S Cab this weekend, I left it safely tucked away in the garage this morning and took the '12 Cayenne S to work this morning after 9 inches of snow overnight... Apparently after 3 months of no snow, EVERYONE on the roads in Chicago this morning has completely forgotten how to drive in the white stuff as my normal 24-mile/35 minute commute took 3 1/2 hours I actually saw a guy in an Infinity pull over IN THE EXPRESS LANES to take a pee....

I sat, alone with my 2009 C2S, in the dark...... listening for those ever slight, micro tones, of something breaking down. Yes, entropy has a sound... a villainous, sneer of a sound.... sometimes metallic, sometimes plasticky, but always a downward tilting drone of decreasing order.
Bah....

Cocomats
Ordered Cocomats today. Car is Sand Beige with Coco deviating carpets so went with the Brown/Natural original. Gave it some good thought and picture reviews before ordering. Hope the Cocomats Brown matches the Porsche Coco carpet. Fingers crossed.

For my 2009 C4S Cab, I contracted and scheduled for XPEL PPF to be installed from the windshield forward plus the rockers, door sills, and rear wheel stone guards. Going to be done in three weeks. Then we go to the track in five weeks.

After being out of commission with a work deadline for almost 2 weeks, wouldn't you know it, come down with a cold. So, after moping around the house for a day, decided to try a mega-dose of Vitamin SP (as in Sports Plus) today. 200 miles later, my cold remains, but the Porsche is happier.

My teenaged daughter and I changed the cabin and engine air filters, using the FANTASTIC DIY directions in this forum. Actually, I gave her directions, and she did most of the work.

Dropped my '10 C4S cab off at Oakes Detail today... thorough detail, full paint correction, fill in of various stone chips in hood, full front & hood XPEL, interior leather conditioning, summer wheel/tire dressing and mounting, cleanup of winter/wheel tires, and installation of P O R S C H E decal along lower door panels. Then will be delivered back to me in an enclosed trailer. Enjoyed meeting Nick from Oakes, very helpful, took time to answer my questions, clearly knows his stuff. The pictures they post of their work on McLarens, Porsches, Lambo etc. looks amazing, so I cannot wait till I get the car back. Hopefully we'll have true spring by then, none of this cold white crap all over the ground anymore....
