Stumbled upon this guy's video and decided to give it a try,

Plasti Dip'd my rear emblem:

The processes was pretty easy and not too bad for $8 vs $150+ for new OEM. I can always flip them back.

Installed 4 new Bridgestone S-04's. Fronts were 10 year old and rears were 8.. so overdue even though not worn!

Interested to hear how you like the Bridgestones. Been hearing good things about them as MPSS supply issues linger...T

I look forward to breaking them in and finding out.

Not quite equal as they are priced at about $300 less than a set than MPSS.. and $700 less than PS2's!

Tire racks shows both the PSS and PS2 in stock in Nevada.

Took out the rear passenger side seat back, pulled out the Bose sub, exposed the child seat anchor, and installed my daughter's car seat.

Tomorrow--family ride to Malibu.

I picked up a couple of new doggie harnesses.
Then took all 4 girls out for a ride... They loved it.

Last week, new PSS's out back, lifted the car about an inch (now at 26"F 26.7"R) & installed the updated TPC DSC box. The updated firmware on the DSC is super nice.

An all around great day.

I decided to install the side "Carrera S" and hood stripe. Wasn't sure if I would like it or not. But so far I'm satisfied. And if I don't like it later I can take it off! Matt black on black seems to be right for me.

yes to the side Carrera S, but the hood stripes not so much. Its just doesn't look right on a Pcar. IMO.
If you like it than that's all that matter.

Wasn't sure about the stripe either. It is quite subtle, unless the sun hits it just so, like in one of the pictures. I was shocked how vivid the stripe looks in that picture. I had a rock chip that was driving me crazy on the hood, so I thought I'd try the stripe to cover it up. Maybe I made it much worse. I suspect that I was the only one who really noticed the rock chip, but it drove me nuts!
