Thank you tomc_mets! I feel lucky to have found the black/terra full leather interior with the Atlas gray exterior. But then again there are many gorgeous color combos for 911's.
I unplugged my PSE to keep it in the open setting, full-time. As there are many threads discussing this quick and easily reversible "mod," there must be many here who have also done this. The sound is quite a bit deeper and louder in the ~20-50 MPH range now. My SW bypass + (unplugged) PSE is even a little louder than the SW bypass + Fister ceramic coated exhaust that I had on the C2S. (Could be partly down to the X51 Powerkit, though. The GTS simply screams up top in a way the already mellifluous SW+Fister equipped non-X51 C2S could never come close to matching.)
Anyway, I found a good solution for stopping up the female side of the connector, in order to keep the connections inside it clean. (I'll try and add photos here tomorrow.) I just took one of the light gray bulb housings from an extra set of side markers I had, removed the orange bulb, and used it as a dead plug to insert into the female side of the PSE connector. Perfect fit! And I then zip tied that cable/connector head to a nearby cable. Clean and simple solution.
My dealer's parts dept. is trying to find me a separate connector head to cap off the male side of the connection. In the mean time, I've wrapped the exposed elements of that side of the connection with silicone self-fusing tape that's heat resistant up to 500* F. Works like a charm. I'd still prefer the clean dead connector head, though.
new Sport Classic wheels with new Michelins! - replaced beat up headlight switch bezel too.
Sport Classic Wheels
VERY nice! I agonized over the choice between the OEM SCs and BBS LM-Rs. Two of the best looking wheels for the 997, IMO. Amazing deal by Suncoast. Congrats.

I'm in the exact same position. I'm completely torn between the Fuchs retro look or the BBS LM-R or CH-R. They both look fantastic!
After seeing stevepow's car I'm leaning more towards the Fuchs style... for now
