To make matters worse, according to him PTS is not available yet either. So from him I could only get a manual in regular colors unless Porsche makes more PDK allocation available.
time to call some other dealers.

They don't look like lobster forks at all to me.

I actually like the design. It's an elegant, original, clever iteration of the 5 point star pattern based off the lug nuts. I would consider buying these instead of aftermarket wheels. They look sharp.

I just called the sales manager at the place where I have a deposit. He said that no cars in NA have been ordered with PDK because it isn't available to order yet.

I need to stop paying attention and chill out, but it would suck to not pay attention and then miss out on having a car for a year of waiting for no reason. What a pain in the a**.

Used ones, with say ... 50 miles on them, can. Hint hint.

I definitley would not look forward to more touch controls on the center consul. That element of the 09, 997 gives me consolation that I have an 08.With poloroid sunglasses on it is extreemly tough to read those touch screens.

Crazy, milaeage doens't matter (low or high). Only if the car was previously titled. That's what I was told numerous times, and I know as I am looking for a real low mile used (ie. previsously titled) car.

There are lots of creative people in this world. 30% upcharge crossing the US/Canada border is excellent motivation for creativity. Add dropping sales and stagnating US economy into the mix and you-do-the-math.

But still, the best deals will always be in used vs. new.

As someone else stated it's not about mileage; it's about the car having been titled ONCE before. ** hint hint!

I agree that they don't really look like lobster forks, that's just the name that seems to have stuck, i personally love these wheels and think the new version suck, at least in pics. these were unique wheels that to me, fit the 997 really well, it had the german industrial-ethos thing going for it.
