I'm into the performance enhancements and the new PCM but not sold on the rear lights, steering wheel and redesigned wheels.

Ordered one as in put down a deposit, or ordered as in sent to Porsche ordered with the 2009 pricing?

Incidentally my salesman (who has already pissed me off over my Mexico Blue color choice) told me, "We'll let you know when we order it." So I sent an email to the general manager telling him I'm pissed off. Apparently there are additional constraints on PDK and August has already been accounted for.

btw the c4s is going to get that red strip reflector back as well, it's been documented somewhere else already.

I'm digging the LED running lights, it looks to be just like on the Audi S6, which always turns my head when one goes by. Cool!

I think to get a deal on a loaded 08 now could be a great opportunity.Love having the last year of a generation.

.
Both
Deposit placed a while ago.
Order placed with P using 2009 order form on Friday.
Pricing is still a bit "fuzzy" on some options since it's so early in the cycle.

fortunately the allocation is "modifyable" for a few weeks because Aqua Blue is not what we expected, not bad, just not what we expected, (something more along the lines of Azurro / Minerva).

more details soon?

Sweet. I was expecting I wasn't going to like it, so I'm planning on ordering paint to sample Mexico Blue. If I don't hear back from my dealer today I'm going elsewhere.

That's a pre-production car. A screw up from the art department. They've done it before.

Back when the 997 Targa was released; they accidently 'filled' in the 'targa top' on the brochure.... Made it look like a normal 997 coupe.

they had to recall thousands of brochures and release the revised 'photoshopped' version.

Ooops. That sucks. LOL

A) Yes, you can get a smok'n deal from a dealer now.
B) It's not a 'generation' change. It's merely a face lift and HP bump.

According to a salesman from Porsche of Orlando over at 6speedonline, they do not have the 09 order guides yet. I sent a mail to another local dealer to see what's what.
