the extensive drivers republic road test is impressive. In it, they intimate that the oil system on the new block not only is as good as the gt dry sump systems but perhaps better. It is a compelling review (and video tidbits of the oil testing apparatus)

Drivers Republic article on 997.2 for those interested in some info about the new 997, seeing the engine testing in the gyroscope tester that can emulate driving at the Ring, and hearing the car fly by.
