I'm trying to get my last emissions monitor into a ready state. But after multiple drive cycles, both the porsche and bmw guides that are on rennlist and 700+ miles still no luck. My oxygen sensor is still showing INC.
After doing a lot of reading online (Rennlist, 6speed) many people have mentioned utilizing a PIWIS to force the emissions test to run on demand. But I haven't found any details on exactly how this is done. Does anyone know where this option is within PIWIS? What are the steps/procedures that are necessary?
Disclosure: I don't have a PIWIS, but a local Porsche enthusiast to me has one and has offered to help with my smog/readiness situation.

PIWIS to ready egr/vvt monitor
Any PIWIS expert know how to force vvt monitor to set with PIWIS? I heard there is way to set vvt/egr monitor through PIWIS. My 2016 991 gts has issue with incomplete egr/vvt monitor for upcoming CA smog check. Every other sensors are ready except vvt/egr. I did try every possible drive cycles and now only hope is PIWIS. It seems common issue with these cars and don't want to unnecessary visit to stealer.

Thanks JB. I already posted there. I hope someone knows how to ready the VVT monitor with PIWIS. There is sequence but seems not many people know except dealer.

Click on ECM under Overview, once that loads click the "Maintenance repairs" tab. Under that you'll see "short test" which has all the emission tests in it. Select the one you want and once it's ready it will tell you to press the brake and gas simultaneously. You'll be able to tell it's running as the engine won't respond normally (revving) but will do odd things to conduct the test. When it's done the PIWIS will switch to "test complete" under the status.

The max file size to attach is 20mb; and the developer manual is 48mb when combined.

Before I get into things, I screwed up while in PIWIS and now my PSM and ABS throw faults, the PSM specifically throwing error 5281: Version Coding Incorrect. Should I create a new thread or should I throw it in here?
