From the diagnostic menu when you first open it: I selected PSM > F12 > F11 (no to VAS) > selected the Coding/Programming tab > Basic coding > F12 > F12 > F12. I made no selections but that last F12 coded something when I thought it was going to show me options then hit F7 to save changes..whoops. Now, when starting the car or even just turning the key I get errors on the dash regarding PSM and ABS faults. Looking into the fault codes the PSM specifically throwing error 5281: Version Coding Incorrect. I checked the value of the PSM in the Maintenance repairs tab and it matches the vin.

Sure, engineering mode allowed us to make multiple selections on the PSM coding while the normal mode didn't allow any selections (you could highlight, not select). This way we selected what we needed to.
