haha, na, no sawzall this time. I plan on making them 2 tone!! Im converting to slick top so i plan on using my old headliners alcantara fabric as donor.
the plan is to take the alcantara and the panel to my upholstery shop and replace the leather piece with alcantara. but the alcantara will cover the old seatbelt hole on the panel. Ive tried looking for leather gt2/3 rear quarter panels and they're pretty rare and expensive when they come up. Figured this is a quick easy cheap alternative. I think the half leather half alcantara is going to look awesome.





i plan on replacing the leather panel outlined in red with alcantara! Thus covering the seat belt hole.



as far as my plans for the car, as i said previously in the thread. This car will get gt2 + everything lol. next few things on my list to do. G97/90 and swap for gt2 gears, wheels, suspension, pccb, cf roof. blah blah blah. Its going to be superb once done.

once i get that g97 i can do cup car solid tranny mount too, all the more reason to get that tranny swap going. By the end of all this i will have a gt2 thats faster and more agile than a stock one for
hmmm wellll maybe a 1/3 of the price, with 3x more shiny parts.

Ok, must have missed where you said you were going for the GT2. Have fun it sounds like a great project, looking forward to tracking the progress. I'm looking at a PCCB upgrade for my 2010 TT so please get some good photos of that if you do it soon.

yea, i will have some more info posted on that topic soon. There seems to be a few different variations of uprights available and they directly effect rotor fitment etc. blah blah blah

stole these babies off ebay today! Cant wait til they come in. Once they arrive i will be able to finish my rear interior conversion to gt2/3 spec. My car is going on the lift on tuesday. I got alot more on the way, more updates soon!
