Got a new wheel

hopefully this pos will be back on the road by the end of the week. Special s/o to South Shore Porsche for completely dropping the ball and not ordering my parts at all, wasting loads of time. Ty!

Got a nice slick top roof on the way as well 😎

More pics and updates soon.

Nice job. I bet that will sound delightful. What are you doing to the center column/shifter area?

Sweet. Please document as much as you can, 6MT swap sounds like a lot of fun.

absolutely! I plan on building my own gearbox. a g97 based unit. I will not be using the turbo box.

Bit the bullet and just went with the demon speed brace. I wasn't trying to use my hacked up jerry rigged RSR brace.

I've been thinking about this build a lot lately.
This is what I've came up with, I will start by adding some power, maybe doing some light trans work on the tip and stay awd until I finish the g97 trans build. instead of going directly to rwd and manual.
The reason why Im starting with power and Not drivetrain/driver enhancements is bc a 911 turbo with a tip is just begging me to be the dig king of the east for atleast a few minutes before I retire on the track.

Next few projects coming up, sunroof delete, still looking for cf roof.
Tune, 2rs intercoolers, upgraded piping, rs door cardsss.

don't forget, I still have my 9ff rwd conversion box. I might experiment in the near future. not sure how well the rwd and tip will work tg though.
and the cost to convert to gt/cup series front suspension and also address the rear suspension isn't cheap. plus I know I would want a manual if I went rwd.

this is all just going to add up to a build thread with a few different iterations, can't wait.

Why bother with the sunroof delete - are you really gaining that much cost /benefit wise? On your scale of 1-10 that would be #12 I would assume . Man you got ***** going through this but god bless you, your time and energy could be sent on much worse things. Really enjoy following your progress.

yes, sunroofs are ugly and heavy. Sunroofs are for chicks not supercars. The progress is only going to get better, stay tuned my friend.

A beautiful day at work!

Pictured here is the rsr style brace from demon speed motorsports.

This brace is definitely stiffer than the porsche rsr brace on my car currently. More pictures when its installed soon!!
