I can see a nice 10,000 mile car pulling 90-100k. Like land they aren't making anymore.
My personal opinion is with everything going to an electric powerplant these older "drivers" cars are going to keep going up in value as some of us don't like the digital feel of driving performance cars and there's the nostalgia feel of it all. (300zx, 911, Supra, M3,) Keep an eye on these cars.

Maybe, but that's CPO 991.2 C2S territory, even at the current crazy 991 prices. Not a Turbo badged car, no Mezger cachet, longer, wider and more electronic, but a darn good car with similar horsepower and two years bumper to bumper warranty. Much as a miss my 996tt I'd find it hard to pass on the newer car.

Saw this one today. Its a time capsule. Really pristine......BUT seller/Dealership owner knew very little about these cars. I was told the car had an optional LSD and also dealer installed factory lowering springs...then i was told it had adjustable coilover suspension from the factory ![Confused](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)

That's like comparing a 993 Turbo that's selling for 150k to a 991 Turbo S (which can be had for 120k) totally different animals and buyers.

Seller should put it on BaT or Cars and Bids. Would get huge money.

I've been following both for about a year. My observation is that C&B brings in lower sales prices than BaT. That makes C&B better if you're buying and BaT better if you're selling.

As these cars become more collectible, you'll start to see many many owners of them in their histories. Collectible cars are usually traded back and forth amongst the collector community as if they were stocks.

Sometimes # of owners is irrelevant and incorrect anyway. My car shows I am the 6th owner, but in reality I am the 2nd. The way it was titled or re-titled by the original buyer has Carfax think it was multiple owners, but I have every single service record from the pre-delivery inspection up until the day I bought it, all from the selling dealership, and all in the original owner's name (and the dealership knew my car and the owner very well).
At 15+ years old, it's way more important to judge the car based on the care it has received and the records that go along with it, and the condition and mileage - not so much how many owners Carfax thinks there have been.

same for me.. i am shown as the 7th owner on paper but i know that the previous owner retitled the car in his father's name when he moved out of state for insurance reasons... and the owner before him moved from state to state and had it retitled a few times as well...
