I think that car had an accident in its history and bit too much milage to be collector grade at this time and it was clearly overshadowed by the two killer Turbos that will be sold in the next coupe of days.

I know this is not everyone’s position, but if I was still in the market for a Turbo S, this minor damage would not disuade me from bidding and wouldn’t lower my offer very much.
Seems like we’re in a period where everyone is seeking perfection; one commenter even said 33k miles is not low mileage; on a Mezger engine car.
I think whenever (or if) we move back to people buying these cars to drive rather than collect, quite a few will be recalling when they had the opportunity to buy this PTS example.

I agree with you that prices are only going to continue to climb, but I think at this point in time the hammer price for that car is right in line with the current trends.
