Hell, in 2018 I was finding tippy's for $40k, but with a little more miles. @ 50K miles was what I was looking at.

Everyone has a price

The sweet spot for me is a car that is unusual enough to be of interest, but one that I can put miles and modifications on without hurting value, and of course great driving experience bang-for-the-buck. A car that is unlikely to have large depreciation and perhaps some upside opportunity, but I'll "invest" elsewhere.
I agree, i dont want a porsche that isnt fast, my first porsche was a 2001 boxster S and although the handling was amazing it was not fast, thats why i love the 996TT

Beautiful color, such low mileage and any issues with "only a few minor touched-up imperfections"?

Blue over black isn't a common combination. I had to look for many moons to find mine. I think it'll go for good money considering the mileage, holy heck.

Here is a one owner. Approximately $85,000 gets it.

I disagree... All BaT will tell you is what it might be worth.... First, BaT is fickle on which cars they accept for auction, far more submissions that accepted cars, and second, folks tend to notice the high priced outliers and not the occasional shanks that occur on BaT.

Consider many BaT results a 'best case' datapoint.

Very nice. With 43k miles interior looks new. Surprisingly they don't list it as an X50 car..
