Good idea, great photos are key for getting top value.

I realize it's my car so I'm a little jaded here it's just I rarely see cars in this condition that don't need any maintenance work etc. It still smells new inside.

I'd never sell it for $68K. I'd just hold it for a year or two when these are 85k+. I really enjoy driving this car and I will be sad when it leaves my garage.
You might want to consider Car and Bids instead of BaT. Doug DeMuro is a big fan of the 996TT and he will talk it up.

Unless I missed it, I'm curious on your motivation to sell? Do you have a new car in your sights? Just bored with it? Doesn't sound like you're in a rush to sell, so I'm wondering why you don't hold onto to it longer and sell after the market has risen even more?

I have my eyes on another car, but honestly I keep thinking I'm going to regret selling this one. I guess I'll see how time plays out. Everything happens for a reason.

Looks like you will get a good idea of what a clean 01 non-X50 will go for with low miles will go or on BAT- https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...911-turbo-128/

This one has some minor damage reported but will still be interesting. That tip RUF cab had some prior damage too and that didn't seem to matter to those who bid.

Damage going to hurt that car, has more miles too but Ill follow it for sure. Also has a rollbar may have been heavily tracked? Aftermarket wheels as well. My car has factory paint.

The paintwork on the calipers doesn't win points for attention to detail.... But I think the wheels are OEM Porsche GT wheels and fairly desirable.

Seems a stretch to call that clean. Lots of yellow flags let's say. Not a great ad either as they don't go into much detail on things you see mentioned in the comments like the suspension, exhaust, brakes, diff, etc. The GT2 rear bulkhead carpet is also a strange item. Somebody looks like they had some fun in it, though. If it's not a mess and the lack of detail puts off buyers it could be a good sorted car for someone who wants one already modded up.

Is the color of the calipers because of shadowing?

I definitely agree with this, and also think that helped them sell quickly. I posted mine on the rennlist classifieds and it sold in 24 hours

I am strongly looking at posting my 02 BMW 330 CI here. Seems like those are doing fairly well lately too

Hey everyone,

I was the one who purchased the '02 X50 car with 21,000 miles. I've been subscribed to this thread for awhile but missed the posts about that car until now. The car was bought by the owner CPO in 2006 while living in California. He had Shark Werks install the Fikse wheels, Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, and H&R sway bars. He eventually moved to South Florida where Champion serviced the car. The most recent service was the 30,000 mile service just 800 miles ago. The car is as nice as you could possible hope for. The owner was a great guy. He just made an off putting listing because he was scared about scammers being in South Florida.

The car will be heading to BaT. Yes, I am technically a dealer but first and foremost I am a Porsche enthusiast so don't hate me too much. I owned a stock '03 996TT, currently have a highly modified '03, and I have sold a handful of 996s as well. Here are a few quick pics.

@ flossed. For whatever it is worth, I purchased my 01 tt manual mint, guards red black supple full carbon interior 10.5 k miles in 18. I am not a collector but was smitten. Your car is fantastic and looks of similar ilk. I paid 69k. Takes the right person but I would say 70's.
