Autotrader - Orient Red / Beige
I'm thinking the combo of aggressive perfomance mods with aftermarket wing and beige interior with wood trim might look off to some.

Also "Body has your typical wear and tear of a car that s been driven for 95k miles" is dealer-speak for "body looks freaking shyte". Other than that it would seem reasonably priced I think, a bit surprised it's been sitting.

If it weren't 93 miles away, I'd take a look at the car as I have a good friend searching for a manual 996 Turbo Coupe. It's a great color and has what appears to be very nice sport seats. Change out the steering wheel and the interior will look 100% better! However, there's always more to the story...

Haha not saying the wing isn't good (even if I don't care for it much personally) but doesn't go well with a park avenue dentist type of color combo and trim like that one imo. I think it would look good on a racer fanboi triple black car with tinted windows, something like that.

Those rims look closer to GT Silver. Maybe they’ve been refinished, or they put TTS rims on it.

Wow. At that price I'll be surprised if it lasts past today. These days you see aspirated 996s asking that kind of money for similar mileage. I'd have put it up at 10k over your ask.

Yea, I'd list for 10k more. Can always come down, hard to ask for more after the fact.

Thanks for the information

Yes I have been overwhelmed with responses and I just posted to PCA. I am considering pulling off the ad a re-evaluating my options.

Sounds like a good idea. I've seen that happen before.

Now I'm curious what it was listed for... is it for 5 years ago pricing?

Would have been a very fair price to motivate interest not that long ago (18 months? 2 years?). But recently pricing has been playing by new rules...

That happened to me last year about this time. A PCA member in Minnesota listed a 914 for sale in the PCA marketplace. I called him, asked a few questions, and then told him I'd pay his full asking price ($10,000 - it was far from perfect, just a driver). He said that a friend told him he had listed it too cheap, and that he was getting tremendous interest in the car. So, he said the new price was $15,000. I told him that I understood, and that if he changed his mind, my offer of full "original" asking price would stand and I could come pick it up in 3 days and pay cash. I guess he sold it for closer to $15,000 because I never heard from him again. It bothered me, but just a little. The car was probably worth $12,000 or $13,000, and I didn't begrudge him for changing his price before he accepted an offer from anyone.
