This looks kind of reasonably priced, actually? Carfax shows a recent clutch replacement. Engine looks to have some modifications, I think I see a Fabspeed label there on the intercooler - maybe https://www.fabspeed.com/porsche-996...intake-system/ .
If this has 22k miles and a new clutch, either the owner couldn't drive or drove it in a way that I'd not be interested in purchasing.

I agree on the price. $62k is more like it with the Tip.

Cinnamon, Grey, AND black. That interior is deviating in three separate colors. Never seen anything 911 like it.

LMAO. I had to open the link to see for myself. You made a good description.

No way that's factory. That's a mish-mash of two cars, and that's not good.

Well, the car is for sale by "The Taverna Collection," so somebody was obviously drunk when they put that interior together.

Here's a bit of footage from their buyer's office security cam:

My friend who worked at the dealership service department in the early 2000s said they got Turbos back for clutch replacement as early as 14K miles, because owners were not used to 400 ft lbs of torque & tended to feather too long while accelerating from stopped.

Some people shouldn't venture from their safe place.

-Says tires are new and says size, but doesn't mention the brand/model - hmmm. Also, not so sure about those tire sizes. Tirerack.com says 225/35-19 and 315/25-19 for 19 inch rims, but I'm not going to take the time to check the diameter on the sizes currently on the car to see if they match front to rear. A buyer should, though.
-Check engine light just came on but he's too busy to check to see what the light is or try to clear it or to state the code - "rather just sell it as is."
-Climate control LCD is bad. That's a cheap & easy fix.
-Rear spoiler inop. Common problem, of course, but also there are common solutions.

Bottom line is that this appears to be a disinterested owner. That being said, could be a great buy for someone. I'd bet $33k cash would buy it, and if not, then you won't feel bad about passing on it.

Text from the ad:

2003 Porsche 911 996 TURBO - RARE 6 speed manual - black on black with red calipers

113k original miles - car is stock except for wheels

Engine/Transmission: Excellent
- 415 hp/415 tq
- drives straight
- transmission shifts smoothly, no grinds, or clutch slip.
- new clutch and tires
- combined 19mpg - gets excellent gas mileage, very responsive, and fast

Exterior: Very good
- no major dings or dents
- chipped left rear tail light
- rear spoiler does not raise up at 75mph, this is a common problem.

Interior: Good
- non smoker
- climate control LCD display has blotchy leak - still works perfectly though, AC blows ice cold
- normal wear on leather seats with small 1cm tear on drivers seat
- right door panel has sun damage
- overall, interior is in really good shape for 17 yr old car

Tires/Brakes
- new tires - 225/30/19 in fronts and 295/30/19 in back
- new rear brakes, red calipers
- 19x8.5 and 19x11 Roderick RW5 Matte Black Wheels - clean w/no major curb rashes
- no squeaking or vibrations

$35,000 CASH ONLY - private sale, clean title in my name in hand.
PRICED low because check engine light just came on. It still runs perfect though. I work during weekdays so haven't had time to take it to a shop. Trying to free up funds for a business opportunity and rather just sell as it is.

call or text. I will remove ad once the car is sold. Cash in hand or wire transfer.
No test driving without cash. The car runs great and I'm pretty busy so I only want to deal with serious buyers only.

From the advertisement: "2003 Porsche 911 996 TURBO - RARE 6 speed manual"

I didn't think 996 Turbo 6 speed manuals were rare.

Also from the advertisement: "No test driving without cash"

What exactly does this mean?

It means what it says, no test drives w/out cash in hand.
