Just spoke to the Seller. He has owned the car for 2 years, while owning the car, he did a full repaint, clutch, and had some tuning work done. He said he has 12 cars and is not in the greatest of health which is why he is selling. Carfax will show one rear end accident with no damage reported, and he has documentation for the paint job, which his friend did. No 2nd gear pop-out was mentioned by him as well. He seemed straight forward on the phone, but there are certainly some red flags here. I mentioned a PPI and he said he had one done last year and the car checked out...he didn't say he was open to one, but didn't say he wasn't either. Interior is grey.

It is a scam. Notice there are no license plates on the car in the photos? Area does not look like LA or Dallas nor like any place someone with 12 cars would live. It is a scam.

I still think it’s a scam, the poor health story is another red flag, but if I lived in Dallas area I would contact them to find out for sure.
I would for sure have to see the car in person before making any offer.

Saw the car in person, needs work. Car has rwd conversion. Missing parts. Not horrific, but needs a lot of work to get it right. Seemed like a pretty heavily modified car.

can you elaborate? I’m not opposed to a fixer upper if it is DIY type stuff. What mods did you notice? I guess nothing is too surprising given the 130k miles on the odometer.
